Isabelle graduated from North Dakota State University with a dual bachelor’s degree in psychology and human development. She continued her education at the University of Arizona for a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and Rehabilitation. She has always found joy in working with children, adolescents and their families to ensure that the whole system is healing and growing together. For most of her career, she has worked in residential treatment for children and adolescents, with her main focuses being on trauma and behavior modification to empower individuals to recognize they are not what has happened to them and encourage individuals to take control over their own life through their positive actions. Her vision for Nexus Teen Academy is to create a safe and healing space for teens to be their authentic selves, to find strength in vulnerability and feel confident about their future.
