Teen Mental Health Treatment in Arizona

Nexus Teen Academy Announces Joint Partnership ThrivePoint High School

Joint Partnership with ASU Preparatory Academy
SCOTTSDALE, Arizona, April 2026 – Nexus Teen Academy is proud to announce a joint partnership with ThrivePoint High School. This partnership ensures residents at Nexus Teen Academy can receive educational support that is customized and manageable during treatment.
“At Nexus, we understand that teens must continue schooling and require academic support to do so during the treatment process,” said Director of Family Services, Ashley Daniels.
“Our partnership with ThrivePoint High School helps us double down on our efforts to combine high-quality care with customized education support during the treatment process. At Nexus, we view the challenges our residents come across in education through a clinical scope in order to best support them in this environment and hopefully improve academic self-awareness as well.”
With this venture, residents will have access to Thrive Point’s online classes and personalized learning plans in a flexible environment that offers white-glove support, anticipating student needs, and providing proactive support to help empower teens in their educational pursuits while getting the mental and behavioral health treatment they need.
“At Nexus, our team works around-the-clock to ensure that every resident gets the individual care they need and deserve while in our program,” said Executive Director Hannah Carr.
“Now, with our new partnership with ThrivePoint, we have additional academic support to ensure that the educational component at Nexus matches the exemplary personalized care we provide throughout all aspects of the treatment process.”
After tremendous success with local Nexus residents independently enrolling in ThrivePoint, Nexus and ThrivePoint developed this partnership to ensure that high school students from Arizona, California, Utah, and Nevada who come into Nexus’ care receive the academic support they need while working to recognize and overcome their behavioral health struggles.
