
Ashley Daniels
Ashley is passionate about supporting teens social, emotional, and academic growth at Nexus. As a former director of theatre and teen programs, she developed liberal arts residential summer camps for Mount Holyoke College and Bryn Mawr College. She also developed and staffed youth programs at Centrum Arts, Intiman Theatre, Norris Center for the Performing Arts, and other adolescent programs in California, Washington, and New York City. Ashley has also worked as a private writing coach, supporting B.A.-Ph.D. students through their applications, thesis development, and dissertations. She graduated cum laude from Columbia University with her B.A. in Sociology and American Studies.
As Manager of Family and Education at Nexus, Ashley is committed to empowering our residents with tools to know themselves better as students, and to support them in discovering what motivates them to do their best academically at Nexus and beyond. As a mom, she understands the importance of giving attention to the entire family system when someone in the family is struggling. Ashley serves as your Nexus liaison to bridge communication between Nexus and each family.
