Chef-Prepared Meals

We have an executive chef, Melissa Stockmar, on staff to ensure that each client has access to nutritious and healthy meals every day. This also allows us to accomodate for most food allergies and preferences. Along with these meals, Melissa also offers interactive cooking classes to clients who are interested

Television & Game Room

While treatment is the top priority of our program, clients do have access to age-appropriate television and video games during some downtime. This allows them to relax and connect with other clients in a non-clinical setting, which can aid overall growth and recovery during the treatment process.

Nexus Teen Academy: Mesquite is a large location nestled in the Desert Mountains with great accommodations. The spacious rooms, outdoor areas, and beautiful location in Cave Creek give clients the chance to settle down and enjoy the serenity of nature and seclusion.

Meet Our Executive Director

Hannah graduated from Arizona State University with her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona. She began her work as a therapist ten years ago in South Phoenix with an intensive outpatient program for teens and their families. In the program, she worked with teens and their families, specializing in intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment, adverse childhood trauma, and other mental health concerns using group, individual, and family therapy modalities.

Jessica Sitko is an Arizona Board Licensed Associate Counselor having experience with various populations in different settings before finding her passion working with children and teens. She completed her Master’s in Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She brings to the team a vibrant personality and passion to help all residents reach their full potential!

Regan Gallegos is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 11 years of experience in clinical mental health counseling. Her work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. She specializes in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief, and loss, providing compassionate and goal-oriented care.

Her approach is client-centered, and she believes in helping clients discover their inner strength and resilience as they move toward a place of balance, wellness, and lasting happiness.
